What a day...After spending the morning shooting the King of Thailand (owner of N2ition auto salon) car I only got 3 hours of sleep.
I wake up early to take Maricris to buy WII fit and pick up my package @ UPS

Raceland Coilovers...$278 shipped from ebay...
I mean what am I really expecting? Will they be stiff? Will they even be driveable...
Made in China. Surprise Surprise
Here is the Stance prior to drop stock shocks with Tanabe GF210 F 1.2 drop R 1.0
Almost two finger wheel gap in the front.
Rear angle looks fine but the front really turns me off extremely high, but allows the car to sit very level.
On jackstands looking like a truck from the 9 bro 9

Tanabes, definitely great springs to bad they were only on for about 300 miles

Getting some work did....

KOT's (King of Thailand) Super retardedly low DC2 with great fitment IMO
16x8 +17
16x9 +20
Positing up taking a break from the heat
A new challenger has arrived! Mark Innocentes
Pete wiring up that VAFC to bad he didnt get to finish it
Raceland + Arizona Iced Tea=Morale Booster
Fronts No Helper spring...was getting a bit worried so much more thread but seems like im gonna be bottoming out already.
Jeffs Protege rocking the Miata Enkei Wheels
Fried Chicken thanks to Mark's mom!!

Initial drop fronts are so far off!! way higher then with stock suspension!
After some trial and error we got it dialed in pretty well the passenger rear needs to be adjusted about a 1/8 of a inch and the car will definitely need an alignment

This is my favorite picture car is low and so is the seat bolted to the ground
THE VERDICT-It is what it is, they are coilovers that cost $270. I wasnt expecting much except getting my car lower to the ground and having a comfortable daily driver. As far as suspension goes in terms of stiffness i would say that it is in the middle of A Super Hard Coilover and a shock spring combo...leaning more on the shock spring side. They remind me of the omni coilovers that people were going ape shit over circa 2004. Theres nothing really to complain about just a well riding cheap coilover, I mean if you tried to buy AGX and throw some $90 coilver sleeves you will still be over the cost of racelands and its not even worth it.
Post Project Comments:
Pete lost his Vtec
The hidden bolt for the fronts are still a bitch to remove/install
Churches Chicken never tasted so good
Watching a river of water when removing gloves looks gross

the fronts can get it just a tad bit more...
